Speaker of the Environmental Protection Agriculture Project “Invite to Reduce, Stop Burning, Reduce PM 2.5 Dust”
On May 15, 2025, Dr. James Limrapipong, Advisor of the Community Enterprise for Career Development of Chonburi Province, was invited to be a speaker of the Environmental Protection Agriculture Project “Invite to Reduce, Stop Burning, Reduce PM 2.5 Dust” along with the Chairman, Committee and members.
Ms. Pornthip Srisomboon, Chonburi Provincial Agriculture Officer, along with District Agriculture Officers, Provincial Agriculture Office officers and District Agriculture Offices, joined the Environmental Protection Agriculture Project “Invite to Reduce, Stop Burning, Reduce PM 2.5 Dust” at the Kaew Chao Chom Meeting Room and the Fueng Fah Meeting Room, Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, with Mr. Witthaya Khunpluem, President of Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, as the chairman of the opening ceremony.
The purpose of this project is to promote farmers to have knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the problems and impacts of PM 2.5 dust, as well as guidelines for reducing problems and staying safe from widespread air pollution, creating awareness for farmers to stop burning agricultural waste materials, helping to sustainably reduce the amount of PM 2.5 dust and creating added value for agricultural products. Replace burning by applying appropriate technology to transform various handicraft products, allowing farmers to have more income and a better life. The target group consists of farmers in Chonburi Province, lecturers, and related officials, totaling 230 people.
